avoiding the hopeless tailspin of spiralling down into the abyss of memories.

From Montreal to Mississauga....

When I was in the airport in Colombia, certain kind of ideas went through my mind and made me felt a little bit awkward since I was about to leave all behind, family (my wife and 5 months baby, Mam and Dad, etc.) Waiting for the counter in a line plenty of student and a group of people heading to Alberta for an internship... Finally I met a guy with the same story to tell..immigrate to Canada was our point of connection and to be honest you always wanna have someone to share those moments cause traveling alone and specially to a new country is overwhelming.

Sitting on the plane was all different, the sensation is like the dream is now a reality and there's not time to go back (well it is, before the plane takes off). The stewards talked about security and therefore the attention went over the kind of things he was trying to explain to everybody on the plane. Beside me was sitting a man who I thought was from Canada, but at the end turns out to be Colombian too!!! I was trying to read a good magazine of adventures and food in Canada... but instead of that surprisingly I ended up having a conversation with the man beside me about being an immigrant in Canada since he was living for more than 10 years in Canada, now in Alberta...
